Manager, Qualitative Research Consulting

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a qualitative field

  • Experience in qualitative research

  • Experience in the broad application of one or more programming languages such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or MAXQDA

  • Three to five years of experience conducting quantitative research projects (e.g., focus groups, interviews, observation)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research design (e.g., phenomenological, ethnographic, grounded theory, historical, case study, and action research)

  • Strong writing skills and ability to effectively translate qualitative results into actionable insights

  • Must have U.S. work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching and research

  • Experience in publishing journals

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative research

  • Support qualitative projects by providing expertise (e.g., phenomenological, ethnographic, grounded theory, historical, case study, and action research)

  • Contribute to qualitative analysis and the interpretation of the qualitative results

  • Conduct a thematic analysis using NVivo and write up the results, including tables and figures

  • Lead the design and execute projects and translate qualitative analyses into concepts understandable to clients

  • Manage projects from end to end, from briefing, analyzing qualitative data, and delivering final reports and findings
